Below, we provide you with transparent information about our customers\u2019 statutory rights as well as our voluntary durability guarantees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Statutory warranty rights (liability for defects)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statutory warranty rights (liability for defects) apply in full to all our products:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 2 years from handover \/ delivery of the goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scope:<\/strong> In the event of defects that already existed at the time of handover, you are entitled to rectification free of charge (repair or replacement).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No charge:<\/strong> Exercising statutory warranty rights is always free of charge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Independence:<\/strong> Any voluntary durability guarantees apply in addition to, and do not in any way restrict, the statutory warranty rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Voluntary durability guarantees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the statutory warranty, we provide a voluntary durability guarantee on selected products. To find out whether a product is covered by one of these guarantees, please refer to the relevant product description in the brochure, in the online shop (please omit the reference to the online shop in the warranty notice in the price list) or on the product label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>5-year durability guarantee:<\/strong> For products marked accordingly, we provide a voluntary durability guarantee of 5 years from the date of purchase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>10-year durability guarantee:<\/strong> For our marked premium products, we provide a voluntary durability guarantee of 10 years from the date of purchase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Depending on the product\u2019s labelling, the guarantee period is either 5 years or 10 years from the date of purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.4 Scope of the guarantee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects in the filling and the cover fabric, provided the product is used properly for domestic purposes. If a defect covered by the guarantee is found, we shall, at our discretion, either repair the product free of charge or supply an equivalent replacement product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.5 Exclusions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following are excluded from the guarantee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Damage caused by normal wear and tear or natural ageing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Damage caused by improper care, failure to follow care and washing instructions, or the use of unsuitable cleaning agents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Damage caused by improper storage, damp, mould or mechanical damage (e.g. cuts, tears).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commercial use of the product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.6 Making a claim under the guarantee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make a claim under the guarantee, please contact our customer service team in writing or by email info@billerbeck.info before returning the goods.
