At billerbeck, environmental protection is an important part of our corporate policy. We are aware that our activities have an affect on the environment. We have therefore set ourselves the goal of keeping the environmental impacts resulting from our business activity to a minimum, or we avoid them altogether.
Responsible management of resources and the environment means that significant environmental aspects must be identified and evaluated, and defined environmental goals must be fulfilled and reviewed, based on measurable properties.
Furthermore, we support an open dialogue on environmental protection and strive to awaken and strengthen environmental awareness in our employees, suppliers and customers. Through information and discussion formats, we promote environmentally conscious behaviour among our employees both inside and outside the company.
As such, our environmental policy is not only directed at all internal employees, but also at all billerbeck’s external service providers. Our colleagues are required to observe and adhere to our environmental guidelines in their daily work. All employees are integrated into our environmental management system and are obliged to eliminate unnecessary environmental pollution.

KG sets itself the goal of continuously improving environmental protections and guarantees the implementation of these guidelines by setting up an environmental management system. Compliance with environmental laws and regulations, as well as future-oriented action, are of particular importance.
When procuring materials, environmental impacts in terms of origin, use and disposal are always taken into account. Moreover, the continuous improvement of our environmentally-related services is a prerequisite for us in the medium and long term, and an important contribution to the protection of the environment.
Smooth-running organisation, progressive management methods and environmental technology provide the necessary framework for this. Managers are obliged to apply the management practices that are applicable in their area of responsibility, to constantly monitor their effectiveness and to adapt them according to the latest information and requirements.
The suitability, appropriateness and effectiveness of the environmental management system is regularly reviewed through the evaluation of results, internal audits and periodic reporting on corporate environmental protection.
Through this declaration, the management undertakes to ensure that all activities in the company comply with the environmental specifications as well as predefined and self-imposed requirements.
